Chester Day Boat Hire

Come on board Daydreamer or DayTripper and enjoy a wonderful day out cruising on the beautiful Shropshire Union canal between Chester and Beeston in the heart of South Cheshire. Slow down, take it easy and enjoy the restful scenery of the rural Cheshire countryside. Cruising the 11 mile stretch between Christleton and Beeston will take approximately 3 hours one way if you don’t stop, but why not stop and enjoy a picnic or call in at one of the delightful canal side pubs on the way.

If you are feeling a little more energetic, why not visit Cheshire Farm Ice Cream in Tattenhall which is just a short stroll from Tattenhall Marina (approx 15mins walk). If you are feeling really fit, you could walk up to Beeston Castle from the Shady Oak pub approx 40 mins walk uphill) Whatever you do, we hope cruising on Daydreamer or DayTripper will give you a Day Out to remember and cherish!

Day Dreamer operates from outside of the Cheshire Cat in Christleton, Chester so that you can navigate the whole 11 mile stretch.
Day Tripper operates from Tattenhall Marina which is approximately midway along the stretch so you can choose which way you want to go.
