PR Matters
PR Matters is a specialist travel and tourism public relations consultancy representing some of the UK’s most outstanding holiday destinations, hotels and attractions, as well as quality international tour operators.
Founded by Pat Edgar around twenty years ago, the consultancy plans and delivers effective bespoke campaigns for discerning clients incorporating a range of marketing and public relations disciplines.
PR Matters passion and understanding of the tourism industry has enabled us to identify and deliver newsworthy stories and strategically develop their brands in today’s challenging climate. We help clients reach wider audiences, increase visitor numbers and build reputations.
The consultancy has remained small by design to ensure all clients receive a high level of personal service. Only highly-experienced PR professionals are employed by PR Matters to work with our clients.
This approach has also enabled us to build effective, long-term relationships with high profile media. At the same time, we are constantly expanding our media contact base and developing our online strategy to ensure we remain in the forefront of our industry.
What makes my business special?
One of PR Matters greatest strengths is its media contacts. We regularly engage with over 1,000 travel and tourism journalists at national, regional and local level covering print, broadcast and online platforms. Many have been known to us for several years enabling us to ‘place’ stories to suit their individual writing interests. We also subscribe to a dynamic online media database.
