For 130 years, the Walker Art Gallery has housed Liverpool’s most outstanding art collection. Many of the gallery’s most important works have been on display in the city for nearly 200 years. It is the national gallery of the North.

The history of the gallery and its collection reflects the people of Liverpool’s commitment to and appreciation of the arts. It also illustrates the generosity of the city’s leaders in ensuring public access to such works.

Big Art for Little Artists is a gallery for children up to and including the age of eight. It has been designed to introduce children to art.

Opening Times: Daily from 10am-5pm.

Costs: Free admission and the exhibitions and events are also free!
