Smugglers Museum (at the Jamaican Inn)

The Smugglers Museum houses one of the finest collections of smuggling artefacts in the country. Featuring ‘The History of Jamaica Inn’, an educational and historical theatre show, the Museum brings alive many of the myths and legends associated with Jamaica Inn and Cornwall, including tales of wreckers and smugglers over the past 300 years.

The Museum is housed in the historic coaching house ‘the Jamaica Inn’ . The Inn is full of legend, mystery, romance and even, according to folklore, the odd friendly spirit and has welcome guests since 1750. Travellers can stay at the inn and there is an award winning restaurant.

Ghost hunting events are held by Jamaica Inn’s own Paranormal team, single nights and full weekends. Dates for these can be found on the website.
