Visit this splendid Georgian mansion, set in the heart of a rolling landscape park, and see magnificent views of Plym Estuary. Then walk around this beautiful stately building that was home to the Parker family from 1743 and be in awe with The Saloon and The Great Drawing Room. See the exceptional collection of paintings and enjoy the intricacy of the original Chinese wallpapers.

Learn about some of the fascinating characters that occupied and visited the house, and be intrigued with some of the family stories, including the correspondence between Jane Austen and Frances, the first Countess. You can also find out what the servants really got up to in the Saltram House on a guided tour.

Stroll along the riverside or around the tranquil garden and take a walk through the orangery with its wonderful scented citrus trees.
