Redwings Ada Cole Visitor Centre
We are pleased to announce the reopening of our Norfolk sites, Redwings Caldecott and Redwings Aylsham. As we wish to trial these measures on a small-scale to start, we do not at the moment have reopening dates for our other visitor centres; Redwings Ada Cole in Essex, Redwings Oxhill in Warwickshire and Redwings Mountains in Angus, Scotland.
We’re sorry if this causes any disappointment, but please keep an eye on our website – http://www.redwings.org.uk and our social media channels for further updates as and when we can bring them to you.
Redwings Ada Cole is home to around 70 horses, ponies and donkeys. Visitors can enjoy walking tours and horse care demonstrations, followed by hot drinks and tasty tray bakes from the café.
There is also an on-site gift shop offering a range of souvenirs, proceeds of which go to support the hundreds of equines in the charity’s care.
While visiting Ada Cole, you might like to support the work of Redwings by adopting one of their friendly residents, either for yourself or as a thoughtful gift for a friend or loved one. A year’s membership to the Redwings Adoption Scheme costs just £15. Ada Cole’s Adoption Stars include the very handsome Gelderlander Zippy, cheeky donkey Del Boy and lovely little Shetland mare Tinkerbell.
