Norton Priory Museum & Gardens

Tudor Road, Manor Park, Runcorn, Cheshire WA7 1SX
Tudor Road Windmill Hill England WA7 1SX GB

A perfect family day out with 40 acres of gardens, woodlands and wildflower meadows set among the archaeological remains of the medieval priory.

The museum has displays and hands-on activities to explore the past 900 years since Norton Priory was founded in 1134. The walled and woodland gardens provide a safe space for kids to run around and play, and for the whole family to enjoy the changing seasons together.

During school holidays we have fun family activities on Mondays and Tuesdays. Always fun, always a bit different and always someone-else clearing up the mess!

There are picnic areas, a gift shop, a cafe at the museum and a small tea room at the walled garden serving ice cream made on site.
