


Museum of Transport
Feast your eyes on a whole range of restored vehicles such as double decker buses, fire engines, horse buses, trams and much more. You’ll see vehicles from the Victoria era, the 1920s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and up to the present day. And you’ll witness vehicles and artefacts featured in films and series such as Harry Potter and Prime Suspect.
There is so much to see and learn at this museum, you’ll definitely need a full day out here. If you are interested in transport, this museum situated in Greater Manchester is a must.
Opening Times: Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays (except at Christmas)
Open every day in August from 10am to 4.30pm
They recommend you allow one to two hours for your visit.
