Little Moreton Hall
Visit this iconic Tudor manor house in the Cheshire countryside and join one of their free guided tours. Discover the story of the hall from the first foundations (or lack of) to the present day. Find out about life in the 1600s and discover the root of some common words, including ‘chairman’ and ‘board-game’.
Nestled at the back of the hall is a manicured knot garden you can visit. You’ll also find herbs and vegetables the Tudors would have used for cooking and medicines.
The café on site uses seasonal produce from the garden and it has a delicious selection of home-made cakes. Light lunches and afternoon teas are served daily.
This manor, surrounded by a moat, is a lovely place to visit!
