Lancaster Park and Animal Farm
Lancaster Park & Animal Farm is a family run petting farm with both indoor and outdoor areas where children meet, touch and feed the animals. They have a range of animals from horses, pigs and sheep to rabbits, chickens, chipmunks and many more. Play areas with swings, slides and children’s rides are dotted along a scenic nature walk.
Food buckets can be purchased upon arrival so that children can feed the animals including the horses, donkeys, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens and many more.
In the petting barn children are encouraged by friendly staff to hold or stroke the baby rabbits, guinea pigs and sometimes chickens.
In the Spring children can join in with lamb feeding at several times throughout the day.
Several play areas with swings, slides, a zip line and picnic benches are dotted around the farm so that parents can take a seat whilst overseeing the children playing. Families are welcome to bring along a picnic to eat at the picnic benches.
Children’s rides including electrics quad bikes, a quad trailer ride and pedal tractors are amongst our other attractions.
