Visit this fully restored 19th century mine in the Pennine Dales where there is plenty to see, experience and learn about. Learn about the lives of the mining families who worked here and have an unforgettable experience in the mine itself. You can also walk around the wildlife path and witness an array of wildlife.

Facilities: Visitor centre fully accessible and includes exhibition halls, shop and café. Outside areas partially accessible with ramps to buildings and washing floor. Disabled toilets on site and reserved parking close to museum entrance.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.

Opening Times: open daily from 1 April – 1 November, 11am – 5pm
Museum café open daily 10.30am to 5pm

Costs: Prices £8.20 Adults £7.20 Concessions £4.50 Child. Tickets valid for twelve months from date of purchase.
