Foel Farm Park
This fabulous farm with stunning views of Caernarfon Castle, the Menai Straits and Snowdonia is well worth visiting. Experience the sights, sounds and smells of a real working environment where you can feed and get up close to animals such as rabbits, goats and sheep.
During Easter and until the end of the summer you may even get the chance to bottle-feed the lambs or calves.
Take a tractor and trailer farm tour and meet the beautiful Shire horses or go on a thrilling mini-trailer ride pulled behind a quad bike. Children can also jump around on a large bouncy ‘pillow’ and afterwards enjoy a pony ride around the farm, that’s if the weather allows. All rides and attractions are free as the admission price includes these.
Go to the chocolate workshop and see how chocolate is made. It is really interesting, but be warned it will get your mouth watering!
There is a café on site and on sunny days you could go out to the Garden Terrace which is a perfect place to eat and drink because of the spectacular views.
