Learn all about the horrific plague that struck the village of Eyam in 1665, and how the villagers made an extraordinary sacrifice of isolating themselves in order to prevent the terrible disease from spreading.
This harrowing story is the central theme of Eyam Museum, which also tells the story of the village from prehistoric times to the present.
Opening Times: 10.00am – 4.30pm. Closed Mondays except Bank Holidays. End of March – Early November.
