Crooked Spire Church
Be amazed when you look up and see the crooked spire on the St Mary and all Saints church. The twisted and leaning spire is nearly three metres tall from its true centre and it twists about 45 degrees, and is a spectacle for the eyes.
Although the spire was originally built straight, it is believed that the 32 tons of lead tiles that cover the spire was the cause of its twisted appearance. Hardly surprising it bent with that weight!
You can also take a trip up to the spire, which is great fun and on top of that you get some fantastic views of the area.
